For her very special 2nd birthday, my daughter had a butterfly garden party. Since we couldn't be outside due to the rain, we brought the outside in with her cake. It was a butterfly-bird house perched above a nice bed of (real) grass. The butterflies were all edible too! The cake was a fresh strawberry cake with cream cheese filling. Below is the birthday girl with her cake, and a closeup of the cake.

This cake was for my nephew's christening. It is a 3 tier white butter cake with cannoli cream filling. The cake is covered with a buttercreme flavored fondant that was quilted and tufted with edible pearls. The monogram plate and roses are handmade with white chocolate and the cross and bows were hand-sculpted with gumpaste.
